Good to know Very Light Touch: Please note that MLD is not a deep-pressure massage. The lymphatic vessels are located just beneath the skin, so the technique is intentionally very gentle to be effective. Hydration is Key: To help your body process the fluid movement, I highly recommend drinking plenty of water both before and after your session. Post-Session Effects: It is common to feel a need to urinate more frequently following the treatment as your body eliminates excess fluid. Restrictions Acute Infection: Not suitable if you have an active fever, flu, or acute bacterial/viral infection. Heart & Kidney Conditions: Not recommended for individuals with congestive heart failure or acute kidney failure without medical clearance. Vascular Issues: Strictly contraindicated for those with active Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or undiagnosed blood clots. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy 1. Appointment Scheduling Advance Booking: Clients are encouraged to book appointments at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability. Online Booking: All appointments can be scheduled through our online booking system. You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment is booked successfully. Walk-ins: Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability. To guarantee a spot, booking in advance is highly recommended. 2. Appointment Reminders Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email or SMS once your booking is completed. Reminder: A reminder will be sent 24 hours before your appointment via email or SMS. Cancellation Policy 1. Cancellation Notice Standard Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a cancellation fee of £20. No-Show: If you do not show up for your appointment without notice, you will be charged £40. 2. Rescheduling Rescheduling Notice: If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees. Multiple Reschedules: Frequent rescheduling may result in the requirement of a deposit to secure future bookings. Waitlist Policy 1. Waitlist Enrollment Joining the Waitlist: If your preferred time slot is unavailable, you may opt to join the waitlist. You will be notified if an opening becomes available. Notification: Waitlist notifications will be sent via email or SMS. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation: If you receive a waitlist notification, you must confirm your appointment within 3 hours to secure the spot. 2. Waitlist Priority Priority: Clients who have experienced a last-minute cancellation or have been rescheduled by the therapist may receive priority on the waitlist.
