Service Description
The ultimate antidote to the "London lifestyle." This focused session targets the areas most affected by desk work, long commutes, and the physical manifestations of stress. Using a sophisticated blend of deep tissue work and myofascial release, I address the root causes of "Tech Neck" and chronic scapular tension. This is not a superficial rub; it is a clinical approach to the upper kinetic chain. We work specifically on the trapezius, levator scapulae, and the deep muscles of the cervical spine to restore mobility, improve blood flow to the head, and drop those "heavy" shoulders. Expect a significant release in tension and a noticeable improvement in your posture and ease of breath. Good to know Bespoke Approach: Each session begins with a quick visual assessment of your neck and shoulder mobility to ensure we target the right "anchors" of tension. Nervous System Focus: This treatment is excellent for those suffering from tension headaches or jaw clenching (TMJ), as I incorporate techniques to calm the nervous system. Hydration & Rest: You may feel a significant "release" during the session; drinking water afterwards is essential to help the body process the changes. Professional Standards: This session is performed by a therapist with extensive training in anatomy and osteopathic foundations, providing a safer and more effective treatment than standard relaxation massage. Restrictions First Trimester: Not suitable for clients in their first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Acute Spinal Issues: Not recommended for individuals with acute disc herniations or severe nerve root compression without medical clearance. Recent Injuries: Please wait at least 4-6 weeks after any whiplash or shoulder dislocation. General Health: Not suitable if you have a fever, contagious skin condition, or active systemic inflammation.
