Paediatric Craniosacral Therapy
Very gentle, light-touch craniosacral sessions for babies and children.
Service Description
A very gentle, light-touch approach for babies and children, adapted from the craniosacral therapy I offer adults. Sessions follow the child's pace: babies can be held, fed or settled during the session, and older children can sit, lie down or play. Parents often bring their child because they seem unsettled or tense, or simply want a calm, gentle session for them. Craniosacral therapy does not replace medical care: please keep up with your GP, health visitor and any specialist advice, and check with them first if your child has a diagnosed condition. Good to know Parent present: a parent or guardian stays with the child throughout. Comfort first: feed, change or pause whenever your child needs to; there's no need to keep still. Session length: 45–60 minutes, including time to talk through your child's history. Before booking Unwell: please reschedule if your child has a temperature or a contagious illness. Head injury: please see a doctor first after any head injury or fall.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy 1. Appointment Scheduling Advance Booking: Clients are encouraged to book appointments at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability. Online Booking: All appointments can be scheduled through our online booking system. You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment is booked successfully. Walk-ins: Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability. To guarantee a spot, booking in advance is highly recommended. 2. Appointment Reminders Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email or SMS once your booking is completed. Reminder: A reminder will be sent 24 hours before your appointment via email or SMS. Cancellation Policy 1. Cancellation Notice Standard Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a cancellation fee of £20. No-Show: If you do not show up for your appointment without notice, you will be charged £40. 2. Rescheduling Rescheduling Notice: If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees. Multiple Reschedules: Frequent rescheduling may result in the requirement of a deposit to secure future bookings. Waitlist Policy 1. Waitlist Enrollment Joining the Waitlist: If your preferred time slot is unavailable, you may opt to join the waitlist. You will be notified if an opening becomes available. Notification: Waitlist notifications will be sent via email or SMS. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation: If you receive a waitlist notification, you must confirm your appointment within 3 hours to secure the spot. 2. Waitlist Priority Priority: Clients who have experienced a last-minute cancellation or have been rescheduled by the therapist may receive priority on the waitlist.
