Service Description

Manual therapy that focuses on the holistic approach to healthcare. It involves the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and related dysfunctions using a variety of techniques such as stretching, joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and articulating manipulation. The treatment aims to restore the body's natural balance and optimize its ability to heal itself. Articulating Manual therapy is based on the principles of osteopathy, which emphasizes the importance of treating the body as a whole, rather than focusing solely on the site of pain or discomfort. This approach takes into account the interconnection between the different systems of the body, such as the musculoskeletal, nervous, and circulatory systems, and recognizes that dysfunction in one area can have a ripple effect on other areas. The Articulating Manual therapy can be used to treat a range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, joint pain, headaches, sports injuries, and postural problems. It is also used as a preventative measure to maintain overall health and wellbeing. This session is a vital tool for anyone with an active lifestyle, from professional athletes to dedicated gym-goers. More than just a deep massage, this treatment focuses on enhancing your body’s biomechanical efficiency and accelerating the recovery cycle. Using a combination of targeted deep tissue work, neuromuscular techniques, and assisted stretching, I focus on the muscle-tendon junctions and fascial lines most affected by your training. The goal is to improve your Range of Motion (ROM), release chronic stiffness, and identify potential "weak links" before they turn into injuries. Whether you are prepping for a marathon or recovering from an intense week of training, this session is engineered to get your body moving at its peak potential. Good to know Active Participation: Be prepared for some active movement and stretching during the session to help reset muscle length. Post-Massage Feeling: You may experience some localized tenderness or DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) for a day or two; this is a normal part of the tissue remodeling process. Dress Code: Feel free to bring a pair of athletic shorts if you prefer, as some techniques involve movement and stretching. Goal-Oriented: I recommend discussing your training schedule with me so we can align the treatment with your "peak" and "recovery" phases.
