Service Description
Stress often settles in the jaw and face first. This 60-minute session focuses on the jaw joint (TMJ), the muscles of chewing and facial expression, and the neck, using a mix of craniosacral therapy, neck release and buccal (intraoral) massage. For the buccal part, I work gently on the muscles inside the mouth wearing medical gloves. Clients often book this session for jaw clenching or teeth grinding, tightness when opening the mouth, or tension around the temples. Many say their face feels softer and more relaxed afterwards. Good to know Gloves: medical gloves are used for all intraoral work. Comfort: the work is gentle, and we stop or adjust whenever you like. Dentist and GP: this session complements, but doesn't replace, care from your dentist or GP. Before booking Dental surgery: please check with your dentist if you've had an extraction or other dental surgery recently. Mouth: not suitable with an active mouth infection or cold sore. Feeling unwell: please reschedule if you have a temperature.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy 1. Appointment Scheduling Advance Booking: Clients are encouraged to book appointments at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability. Online Booking: All appointments can be scheduled through our online booking system. You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment is booked successfully. Walk-ins: Walk-ins are welcome but subject to availability. To guarantee a spot, booking in advance is highly recommended. 2. Appointment Reminders Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email or SMS once your booking is completed. Reminder: A reminder will be sent 24 hours before your appointment via email or SMS. Cancellation Policy 1. Cancellation Notice Standard Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Late Cancellations: If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a cancellation fee of £20. No-Show: If you do not show up for your appointment without notice, you will be charged £40. 2. Rescheduling Rescheduling Notice: If you need to reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees. Multiple Reschedules: Frequent rescheduling may result in the requirement of a deposit to secure future bookings. Waitlist Policy 1. Waitlist Enrollment Joining the Waitlist: If your preferred time slot is unavailable, you may opt to join the waitlist. You will be notified if an opening becomes available. Notification: Waitlist notifications will be sent via email or SMS. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation: If you receive a waitlist notification, you must confirm your appointment within 3 hours to secure the spot. 2. Waitlist Priority Priority: Clients who have experienced a last-minute cancellation or have been rescheduled by the therapist may receive priority on the waitlist.
